What are the campsite rules?

No excessive loud music at any time. Please respect other campers, as noise travels easily through canvas, please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. No open camp fires. No BBQ’s directly on the grass, please use bricks provided. No groups of any kind.


Are dogs allowed?

Yes. We do not charge for dogs or pets. If you have an XL Bully Dog please contact us as there are guidelines in place for this breed. They must be well behaved and kept on a lead at all times when on site. There are fields and footpaths from the site for plenty of walks.


Are group bookings allowed?

We do not accept any kind of group or large family groups.

We cannot accept any male/female large groups, hen/stag parties or underage groups (Under 18).


What time is check in and departure?

Check in for camping pitches is from 1pm to 8pm during the summer and 1pm to dusk during early or late season. Departure is by 12 noon. Please see FAQ’s for Glamping for Pod check in and departure times.


There is a petrol station with Little Waitrose and convenience shop at Birdham which is 1 mile away. The nearest village is East Wittering which is approximately 2 miles away and has a large selection of independent shops, as well as Tesco, co-op, and a number of pharmacies. There is also a doctors surgery at East Wittering. There are also a number of restaurants, takeaways and pubs.

Chichester is the nearest city, 7 miles.

There is a regular 30 minute bus service 400 yards along the lane from the site, which stops at East Wittering, West Wittering and carries on into Chichester.

Are there shops nearby?


BBQ’s and firepits are permitted if they are raised at least 2ft off the ground. There are bricks available for your use at the office. Disposable BBQ’s are not permitted.

Are BBQ’s allowed?


From the A27 at Chichester take the Witterings exit at the Stockbridge roundabout turning on to the A286. Continue for approximately 5 miles. When you get to Birdham turn left opposite the petrol station onto Bell Lane B2198 towards Bracklesham Bay and East Wittering. After approximately 1 mile, at a sharp right hand bend, take the lane on the bend – Bookers Lane – do not continue round the bend. The site can be found approximately 400 yards along the lane on the left hand side.
